We began with a client discovery session. This determined key brand values, identity and highlighted the human element behind the brand. This was transformed into a brand brief before moving onto phase 2.
Developed a brand name that reflected the values and brief. This entailed research into the industry, ASIC and IP Australia to ensure the brand name was available for use. Throughout this process there was significant communication with the client to ensure their approval on all brand elements.
Conceptualised a design that fit and strengthened the brand identity. Industry research revealed branding similarities between competitors, specifically uses of primary colours and bold typefaces. To combat this, we introduced a neutral brown colour palette. This represented the brand name and identity, symbolising strength, reliability, resilience, and security. We maintained a bold typeface as it fit the branding. These elements represented the clients’ own distinctive and individual personality.
RESULT: The client was extremely happy with the brand identity we created for Brumbi. It was a true representation of their values and ethics while incorporating effective strategic elements.
